The Mas (The House)

The Mas des Oleandres is situated at the French Riviera, in between the Mountains of “Le Massif des Maures”, and at about 8 km from the coast. The Mas has a surface of 150m2 and is suitable for up to 10 guests. Simply and elegantly furnished, it is equipped with all comforts, including free wifi. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 4 toilets, a private pool and a large terrace with panoramic views over the mountains. A second terrace also offers a roofed area where you can eat and drink (or play “jeu de boules”) in case of tropical rain. Each terrace comfortably host up to 10 persons. Pool equipment includes sun loungers. There is private parking space for at least 3 cars.

Overview:

The Mas des Oleandres consists of 3 small, authentic wine houses, renovated into “one” house in the sixties. We named these houses: the tower house, the middle house, and the lounge house. All 3 houses have views on the big terrace and are interconnected by doors. There is one main entrance door, giving access to the three houses. Each house has also its own entrance door, so if needed, privacy ensured! Every house has its own private bathroom. The middle house has one bedroom; the other two houses have 2 bedrooms each.

The towerhouse

This little wine house has a communal toilet downstairs, which comes in handy during daytime, because you don’t have to climb any stairs. On the first floor you will find a bedroom with two separate beds and a renovated bathroom with rainshower. On the second floor you will find the master bedroom with a double bed of 160/200. The master bedroom has a balcony with lovely views over the valley, where you can sip a cup of coffee in the morning or an apéro in the evening. Authentic details in this room are the high ceiling, the exposed beans and a very old separate yellow lavatory.

The house in the middle

Here you find the communal entrance to the Mas des Oleandres. You enter directly in the living room with a couch and table for four persons, a kitchen equipped with all comforts (refrigerator, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher en washing machine).
By an original round staircase you reach the first floor with a modern bathroom with bath, as well as the master suite. In the master suit you also find a double bed of 160/200, the authentic exposed beans and a spectacular view over the valley. In the morning you will certainly enjoy the lovely sunrise!

The lounge house

On the ground floor you will find a dining room with a table for 8 persons as well as an extra refrigerator. And a living room, with a large lounge couch where you can chill during the hottest hours in the summer or in wintertime sit and relax near the fireplace. You can also watch TV; there are more than 160 channels available.
By a staircase with the original “Salernes tiles” you reach 2 more bedrooms. One in the front with two single beds (or put together as a double bed) and mountain views. And one in the back with views over the old Hammeau and a double bed of 160/200. There is also a small bathroom with comfortable shower.

In the entire house, de windows of the bedrooms have wire-netting and romantic Louvre shutters (they keep the warmth out, but they let a lovely diffused light through during the day).
